Our 100% owned Morelos Property in Mexico is a world-class asset measuring 29,000 hectares within the highly prospective Guerrero Gold Belt, 180 kilometres southwest of Mexico City. The Property hosts our Morelos Complex, which includes the Media Luna Underground, ELG Underground, and ELG Open Pit mines, the development-stage EPO underground deposit, a fully-integrated processing plant, and related infrastructure.
Construction on ELG commenced in October 2013 and commercial production was declared in April 2016. In 2024, ELG delivered annual production of 452,523 ounces of gold, marking the second consecutive year that the Morelos Complex was the largest gold producer in Mexico. Following a three-year construction period, Media Luna achieved first copper concentrate production in Q1 2025 and is on track to achieve commercial production in Q2 2025. A feasibility study for EPO, the next mine at Morelos, is currently underway and first production from the deposit is expected by late 2026.
With the addition of EPO, annual production from Morelos is expected to remain above 450,000 gold equivalent ounces beyond 2030 with a mine life through 2035.1 The Company is also actively exploring additional deposits across the property that should enhance and extend the life of Morelos Complex, with a pathway to sustaining production above 450,000 gold equivalent ounces through 2033 already defined.
