Caroline Donally has more than 27 years of experience in mining investment, strategy and finance across North and South America, Africa and Asia. She is a Managing Partner of Sprott Inc. and Managing Partner of Sprott Resource Streaming and Royalty, where she is responsible for strategy, institutional fundraising, investment origination and structuring, portfolio management and the overall development of the business.

Prior to joining Sprott, Ms. Donally spent almost a decade at Denham Capital, where as Managing Director she led a US$1 billion global mining investment portfolio across the Americas and Africa. As a major shareholder in portfolio companies, she worked closely with management teams on strategy, M&A, operations, senior leadership, capital allocation and financing. Her experience included acquiring and developing mining assets, building management teams and guiding projects through feasibility, construction and into production. Earlier in her career, she spent 10 years with Investec Bank and Rand Merchant Bank providing project, development and structured finance to mining companies. She began her career at BDO Spencer Steward.

Ms. Donally currently serves as a director of Major Drilling Group International Inc. and previously served as a director of Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. and Highland Copper Company Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science (Honours) from the University of South Africa, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand and the CA(SA) Chartered Accountant designation.

Ms. Donally is frequently invited to comment on mining investment and finance markets and is a regular speaker at international mining and investment conferences. She has twice been named one of the “100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining.”
