In October 2024, Torex was honoured to receive the ‘Silver Hard Hat’ award from the Mexican Mining Chamber (CAMIMEX) in the Open Pit Mining category (over 500 employees) for the excellent safety record at ELG.

We are proud to have obtained the ESR® 2025 Distinction from the Mexican Centre for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility in Mexico (AliaRSE) for seven years in a row as a result of our public and voluntary commitment to implement socially responsible management at our operations in Mexico.
 

We are proud to report that as of February 2024, Torex Gold received a rating of “AA” on a scale of AAA-CCC in the MSCI ESG (environmental, social and governance) ratings performance. More information about MCSI and their methodology on ESG ratings can be found here.

As of August 2021, Torex Gold received an ISS Governance QualityScore (QS) of '1', which is the highest ranking ISS provides. More information about ISS and their ESG Ratings and Rankings can be found here.

For the sixth consecutive year, Torex earned honouree status in The Globe and Mail's 2025 Report on Business "Women Lead Here" list, an annual editorial benchmark that acknowledges the Canadian corporations with the highest gender diversity among executive ranks. In total, 93 companies earned the 2025 "Women Lead Here" seal, and we were one of only five mining companies to be named to the list. 

In January 2025, Torex Gold was advised that the Company was short listed as a finalist in four categories: best in sector (materials), best ESG reporting (mid-cap), best investor targeting strategy, and best sell-side management. This marks the third consecutive year that Torex has been nominated for awards related to its Investor Relations strategy.

Torex is proud to have received multiple Brandon Hall Group Awards of Excellence in both Leadership Development and Learning & Development. Our Leadership Development awards celebrate the impact of our Supervisor Excellence Program and Leadership Enhancement Program, which equip our leaders with the skills and tools to excel in people management. Additionally, we were honored with a Bronze Award in Learning and Development for the successful implementation of Torex Academy, our employee learning platform, reinforcing our commitment to continuous growth and development.

In January 2023, Torex Gold received the 2022 Indigenous & Community Relations Award from Mining Magazine, a major industry publication, for our excellence in community relations.

In January 2022, Torex Gold received a 2021 Safety Award from Mining Magazine, a major industry publication, for our industry-leading safety performance.
